ABOUT ME

Hey there!
I’m Elisa Klein, the creative heart and hands behind Edinburgh Permanent Makeup. Originally from the Netherlands (yep, I still miss the stroopwafels!), I’ve made Edinburgh my home for almost a decade.
With a background in nursing and a long-standing love for portrait drawing, I found my true passion in semi-permanent makeup about seven years ago—and I've been obsessed ever since!​​​

I’m also super passionate about showing the world that beauty enhancements can look totally natural—no one needs to know you’ve had a little extra magic!

I’ve transformed my Bruntsfield studio into a beauty haven where I specialise in ultra-natural enhancements that improve your unique features.

I've been in the studio for just over 6 years now and have performed over 11,000 treatments. Over the years I've become more niche in the industry and become an expert in the field of creating the most natural and realistic results. 

 

With over 120 glowing reviews (thank you, amazing clients!), I’m known for my meticulous attention to detail and my ability to make every treatment feel like a calm, relaxed experience.

the way I work...

My approach as an artist is different to other artists, in that I don't follow trends. My aim is not to do what is popular but rather to do what is RIGHT for you. Everyone's face is so unique and bringing your best features to the light is what I'm passionate about.

I’m deeply committed to changing the perception of the aesthetics industry. My aim is to show that semi-permanent makeup can enhance your beauty while staying true to who you are.

My artistry is therefor based on the principal that all treatments are uniquely tailored to every individual person. I don't use templates and I have a very detailed designing process in everything I do. You are an integral part of that and have full say over the end result - it's your face, this is your party!
